This is a really special piece, and Winter Sika hides are something we rarely have available.

Taken from a hind in full winter coat, this hide has beautiful natural colouring and a wonderfully soft feel. The leather is supple and flexible, while the hair is fine, thick and incredibly soft to the touch.

The colouring is particularly striking, with lighter brown tones around the outer edges and a rich blend of brown and black through the centre. It's a hide with plenty of depth and character, and one that stands out from the crowd.

The photos show it well, but it's even more impressive in person.

This piece measures approximately 140cm long x 105cm wide.

Each piece is natural and totally individual, so you may find light imperfections such as marks or discolouration. This is part of the process and also part of the charm.
