This Dark Fallow Deer hide is a real character piece with beautiful natural colouring and plenty of presence.

One of the things we love most about this hide is that it remains almost the full skin, giving it a unique shape and plenty of length. The hide was skinned a little differently to what is typical, which is why it is being sold as a second. It doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece, but it does give it a more unusual appearance than a traditional deer hide.

The colouring is rich and dark through the body, with the distinctive fallow spots still clearly visible towards the lower section of the hide. It's a lovely combination that really showcases the beauty of the animal.

Each piece is natural and totally individual, so you may find light imperfections such as marks or holes. This is part of the process and also part of the charm.
